I make a complimentary first visit to your home. This is an exchange of information; I find out what you would like, what style would suit your home and what your budget is. I can tell you what is possible and suggest some ideas and materials.

I would then go away, develop our ideas and calculate prices.

If you are interested in pursuing my making a piece for you, the next step may be for me to revisit, discuss the project in more detail and measure up if appropriate.

I would then prepare a proposal; this would include researching materials and methods, calculating costs and producing drawings.

There is a charge of £100 for this step, deductible from the finished price.

The contract with a proposal requires one third of the price at the outset, with the balance due on completion.

Delivery, if required, is charged separately.
